    This is good info to have. I have been running into a similar problem and believed it was some form issue causing the imbalanced fatigue. While my form is definitely a work in progress, I am glad to hear that there might just be some muscle adaptation happening alongside.

    Yessir, that is one of the three reasons I bought the erg. The MR340 can be a big mind game, and I want to be as mentally resilient as possible coming out of hard water season.

    Great thread idea, Alan. I have just started training for the 2027 MR340. Depending on how that goes, I may become more involved in canoe racing. Looking forward to seeing some info! Do workouts on a paddle erg count? I have one on order to train through the winter.

    And time period covered. I would say the Nile would be a heavy contender. Modern era, the Mississippi has certainly claimed a lot of lives.

    Well, I haven't ever tried a BA pad... Sounds like I dont want to... 😁 They make good stuff for bug guys too, a shame. I love my BA chair.

    Thats odd. My Klymit, Nemo, and Amok pads all deflate with the pump. Sometimes it is a little fiddly getting started.

    Flextail for me. As alluded to above, the moisture-free inflate is nice, but the DEFLATE feature is what makes it worth it to me. Down to packable size the first time.
