Relaxing Canoe Camping

When you look in the dictionary for the word relaxing, there should be a link to a James Carey video.

Loved your post. James Carey is a popular fellow in our house. I watch and enjoy all his canoe camping videos and my wife watches all of Mr. Carey water painting videos. He does a wonderful pen and water color sketches most outdoor people enjoy, very simple and relaxing. One of my favorites pen and ink setch is of him knelling outside his tent cooking over a campfire.

Robin, he's still got a little bit of work left to do to catch up to you in the breakfast department.

The fact that it wasn't titled: "ALONE! In Canada's REMOTE and SAVAGE Wilderness" was a welcome change from much of YouTube.

As someone who has difficulty creating a recognizable stick man, I envy him his artistic talent - those sketches form a record that seems much more personal than photography.

I’m impressed by the work James Carey must do to capture all that relaxing. Set up a camera. Hopefully, he has a remote so he doesn’t have to turn it on and then rush over to his kitchen to start cooking, or into his next “action” shot. Reset camera for next viewpoint. Repeat. Then there’s the effort to choose the video segments that go into his production, editing, clipping and integrating into the finished video. Impressive work and work that I don’t know how to do.
