Sorry I am ignorant, what kind of canoe is it, I couldn't read the side in the pictures.

I decided to risk it on a Fishell, I couldn't find any reviews, but I think, as Odyssey said, I will start a new tradition - someone has to go first. I will post some photos and a review of it when it comes in, let people know what I think. Thanks everyone for the help and opinions.

Wow, Doug Ingram at Red River Canoes has some gorgeous paddles. I had never heard of him before, unfortunately the $250 price tag is bit much right now. The badger and Fishell are $130 which is more in my budget range. Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it.
