Thanks for the input! That's a possibility. I need to stick it up on the truck and see how it fits. I think I'm probably going to have to have the canoe a little further forward though, because I have a 6'6" bed, not the 8' bed like you do, so the front of the 5er is a little closer to the cab.

Results are in! I ended up getting one canoe, that I bid $275 for. As I mentioned up above, I bumped up my bid on a couple of the nicer ones and this seemed to be the best of the lot. Although the stem and stern have wear, they are not worn through to the foam. I bid $200 on most of the rest...

Bids have been placed. We’ll see what happens. Some of them have wear through the ABS layer at stems/sterns shown below. Others don’t. I bumped my bid up a hair on a couple with less wear. I’ll let you know how it goes after bids are opened next week.
