My son volunteers at a local wildlife rehabilitation center. It is recommended for him to receive the vaccine prophylacticly. I need to remind him to make sure he gets it completed.

They are Cedars and Sitka Spruce. I read that the Cedars may be over 1,000 years old. @ppine may be able to give more information. We are lucky Paul Bunyan left a few old growth trees! For reference, the guy hugging the tree is me. I am 6'-1".

We have a lot of bears on the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington. They do seem to be very active right now. Two nights ago one scaled and bent down the fence around our garden area to get to our garbage can. I now need to find another solution for garbage. These two have also been hanging around...
