Don't understand. The 2025 Midwest Canoe Symposium is being held on September 5-7, 2025, in Peninsula, Ohio.

It is organized by Jim and Manon Paquet-Satrape, with whom I paddled for three days last week in the Adirondacks. Here they are on the Upper Osgood River.



I highly recommend freestyle instruction for anyone at any experience level. I attended my first FS symposium at age 65, learned a lot, and made some enduring paddling friends.

A really nice community of dedicated paddlers and instructors, many of whom travel great distances to attend. I’ve learned a lot there as well and am fortunate to be close by. You get to hang out with the rock stars of the freestyle world and it turns out they’re just regular people like the rest of us!
