Thanks for that link, what a well made video, even had a drone.
I reached out to the original poster of the video and he said the OMNR took them up into the helicopter so they could see the fire situation ahead of them. Very cool.
I am assuming this is a group from Camp Wabun on Bear Island Lake Temagami. When I saw the helicopter film footage I wondered if they had been airlifted/evacuated out of the fire zone. I guess the OMNR were only observing at that point. But I don't know. Usage of a drone is not condoned within restricted zones of active forest fires where air support is taking place, but maybe no resources were available for the Winisk area. Still, it was very interesting to see this all up close in this film. This was a thrilling view of a memorable trip. Thanks Red.

Really enjoyed your clip guys, it brought home to me living in the UK, the total destruction a forest fire leaves behind it!
That was a really well done video. I too was surprised the gov. allowed them to go and that they gave them a look from the helicopter.
