Saturday July 26, 9:00am – Dwight Beach
This is an ecological tour of the Lower Oxtongue River. Partake in a leisurely paddle along the meandering, nearly motionless, breathtaking beautiful river. A wildlife sighting contest includes prizes over lunch beside Marsh’s Falls. $25 per person. It’s a pleasant daytrip that many novices could easily handle. It’s hosted by the Lake of Bays Heritage Foundation, a non-profit charitable foundation working to protect the natural and community heritage in the Lake of Bays area. We are 20k from the Algonquin Park west gate.
