My first trip of the year was a six day loop out of the Kiosk access point in Algonquin Park back in May. The route took us down Maple and Erables, up Maple Creek, through Birchcliffe to Highview, along the Nip and back up through Nadine etc. This one covered a lot of ground that's been on my list for a long time, and I'm happy to say it lived up to my expectations (in every way, thanks Maple Creek). As close as I will ever get to seeing Algonquin Park, I would guess at this stage of my life. Really enjoyed taking this visual and written trip with you.

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. This was a great trip. Exhausting, but fun. I think next spring I'm going to target fewer alders and less snow. We'll see how that works out.
