I live 8 minutes away from the Schuylkill river Flat Rock Park boat launch. From there I can paddle upriver or take a short dam portage downriver and paddle my whitewater canoe in class I-II rapids to the Philadelphia Canoe Club. The picture is taken upriver near Valley Forge National Park.

Thanks, I’m hoping to organize a trip on the Delaware or Susquehanna river in the spring next year. I’m tied up with work until winter.

I’m French-Canadian, Philadelphia Canoe Club member. My sister lives on Lake Champlain in Rouses Point, NY and I still have family in Québec. I paddle some whitewater and flat water with family or friends when the Schuylkill is not flooding.
