It worked. I went for it and got the infusion done. It took about 32 minutes to infuse at 88deg ambient. I used exactly 1.8 gal of epoxy mixed in three batches. I have a video of the infusion, but I'm going to combine it with videos I have of each step after the boat is finished. So stay tuned...
