Steve, I do not see any hard defined edge inside of the Swift layups like I have seen in Wenonah designs. Also, although there are undoubtably many who paddle Swift canoes in whitewater, in my world rivers and whitewater are not one in the same and boulders are almost as rare as whitewater...

I think the leading post was as stated that this is a "just for fun" topic and not meant to be controversial but merely informative about what you might like in a canoe for camping, tripping or traveling.

I strongly agree with the quote above and the only other answer I have is my Swift Temagami. While there is no one best tool for all situations, I do find this Swift canoe to have many attributes including seaworthiness, maneuverability, light weight, efficiency and stability. It is sad that...

Glenn, nice review of the Kee15, I also picked one up second hand that is nearly identical to yours and it is my go to solo boat for most everything. Mine was built in 2020 and has multi height seat pods.

I think Diawa still markets a very nice compact fishing rod and reel in a case.

Not that bad, I have managed to find some nice canoes, but used ones are very hard to come by. I have certainly made replacement gunwales from cypress though.
