I like the BW myself but liked the Cruiser just a bit better. Great workout boat and tripping canoe.

    Swift Cruiser 15.8

Bill lent me a Cruiser 15.8 pack with the seat an inch higher to make it easier to single blade and it also had the carbon foot bar. I wound up ordering the 16.8 solo with sliding bucket seat and integrated sliding foot bar. I absolutely love the boat both the 15.8 and 16.8.... IMO you cannot...

There is a beautiful MR Indy located in CT. Definitely further than you wanted but I'm sure it can get relayed. Best of luck to you! https://www.facebook.com/share/1BFPbC1FnR/

    New Swift Cirrus 14.6

Glenn I feel as Swift can pretty much do whatever the customer wants or at least it feels that way to me. With so many varying options now their website does not reflect it. Back in June 2025 Bill and I started the process while we were at Canoe & Kayak Sales in Portlandville, NY. I changed my...

    New Swift Cirrus 14.6

Last Friday I took delivery of a 2026 Swift Cirrus 14.6 in carbon fusion with the crimson tint, matching float tanks, carbon foot bar and basalt innegra interior. The boat weighs in at 27.2#'s. Now I just need winter to die:p When I test paddled this boat back in June both kneeling and sitting...

    Canoeing Plans for 2026?

Nothing specific just hopeful as most of my time off this year is currently booked for traveling in 2026. I do have a week come mid October I plan to use for paddling. I do believe we will take a kayak tour while visiting Nova Scotia in June? However I'm already looking ahead to 2027 with eyes...

What are your current solo canoes and how do you like them?

The image of me on Jabe was the same day I picked up my Hornbeck. Plan was to camp overnight BUT all the sites were taken. So I hit a brewery in Bolton Landing instead before heading home. Sadly I have not been back to Jabe😢
