My first river was the Youghiogheny near Dawson Pa. It was polluted from mine acid back then, but over the years the river was cleaned up and now is one of the best fisheries in the state.

I hate to admit it, but I had no idea what a Greenland paddle was. After a quick google check, it looks very interesting. I just started using a double paddle, it's a lot easier on my old back and shoulder, but the dripping water in the canoe is really a pain. I'd like to hear from others...
