Great idea. This is another method I have used many times. Light weight and keeps you out of the dirt.

I've still got and use my old Germany Solingen camping knife that I've had since college in 1967. I can still remember the day I got it, paid the outlandish price of $ 2.00 for it. Hard to sharpen but when you do it keeps an edge forever.
