PFG from Columbia…I know the benefits of wicking materials but just have to have cotton next to my skin. Bonehead model (no jokes please) is my favorite for function, fit, and price. Don’t do cold weather anymore.

The guy in the yellow Nitro is pretty dang good. They all must enjoy swimming more than I ever did! 😉

Old buddy Ted getting his first taste of whitewater using his OT Pack on the Middle Yough…the smile says it all. He was hooked and went on to be a WW Instructor. (year is lost in a cloud of smoke) Ted and me after an exhausting day of private instruction at NOC Again, date hazy.

“Frost-ian” snow falling was my favorite winter paddling weather. Used to paddle winter a lot before moving S. Nobody else around. Kudos on defeating the elements, but please be careful….we need you!

It’s been about 32 at night here and 50 daytime and the locals dress like Michigan and think its cold. I get remarks because I wear shorts and sandals all year. Long term forecast called for warmer winter but Jan is running way below normal and will for most of the month. Grin and bear it...

Always used Watco oil…40 years, 30+ boats. Never had a problem but they have always been stored under roof. Not much care required to keep them looking brand new. Just clean them when they get dirty…don’t let them sit for months then clean. Ease of application is an important aspect for me, and...

Amazing vehicle. Surprised he is allowed to drive on highways. As I say quite often…people are endlessly creative. I’ll watch more too.
