Kyle is now starting into Noxon reservoir on the Clark Fork. That's some beautiful area he's in. He's making really good progress, and it's fun to watch him take on the grizzled look. ;)

Lengthening the waterline also increases stability, so I don't think that's what is causing the twitchiness when you're paddling tandem. Frankly, I think it's your friend who is twitchy. I've noticed this with different partners in the same canoe. With some, it's no different than solo. But...

For some, it's the memory of past abusive logging practices. But I think for most, it's purely emotional.
