    shock cord for tent poles

I don't have those tents, but have done this to other pole tents. I try to match shock cord diameter (reference old one), length should be slightly longer then poles to accommodate knots or stoper. In the end the shock cord should have little to no tension on it when poles are together. If you...

    Adirondacks: The Floodwood Pond Loop

I totally agree, this area and canoe routes are great. As a start, middle, or Finnish point, there are many possibilities. I only paddled in new England, mostly in the adirondacks. So I might be slightly biased. Good fishing, well marked carries, no shuttles, solo or group, its got some thing...

What to use for an inside ground sheet (and how to use it)?

Mylar is a light weigh option for either outer or inner. It is window shrink wrap for insulating windows. Sounds flimsy but works surprisingly well and is cheap. Very static clingy, but its pretty puncher resistant. Easy to find at any hardware store. I like a tyveck inner on a one man cause if...

(For what thats worth). But wile canoe tripping in the adk s I've been wanting more room to fiddle around when the Flys are feasting, and the skys are pouring. So...
