It has been raining here all day, so it was a good day to finish the seat. Not my best weaving job, but I'm happy with it. Going to put this one on my Mohawk solo 13. I'll make another one when I finish building the Raven canoe. This is fun stuff😊. I'm tired right now. Roy

That little Craftsman bandsaw has served me well. I need to replace the rubber on the drive wheels. I did a 1/4" mortice like what your picture shows. Glued the joint and run in a good quality deck screw. Thanks for the advice Roy

Yes I've the triple layer back breaker. I took a small trip last fall and had to portage everything from the parking lot to lake shore, about 200 yards. I thought for sure that beast was going to break my back. Roy

I've got a Mohawk solo 13 that says R-84. It cost slightly more then the royalex material when I bought it in 2012. It was stated to be a few pounds lighter then the royalex. I keep it hanging in the basement when not using it. It seems to be just as solid as the day I bought it. Roy
