Have paddled a Hornbeck Blackjack for 12 years, just added a New Tricks 12. Flatwater only. Love canoe camping loops up to 8 or 9 days. I'm interested in natural history & started paddling to get more access to wetlands. I didn't realize how great it would be in many other ways. I've been hiking for over 50 years. Most activity in the northeastern US (esp. northern Maine & New Hampshire and the ADKs) with a few side trips out west and a couple in Canada.
