Over 6 decades of canoe/kayak tripping throughout North America. I use 3 paddle craft, 17' 2" Mad River Roylex Explorer, a very high volume 9 foot white water Kayak and a 1969 bought new Two Place Klepper Kayak with the sloop sailing rig, (neck snapping acceleration to about 5 MPH). I have put the sailing rig with lee boards and rudder on the canoe for seems like effortless travel.
