Fantastic day! That was my first fish of many, for the day. That small mouth busted out of the water, 4 times, before my brother turned on the camera. It was awesome. You can fish for bass all year, as long as you use artificial baits, and you catch and release. I always catch and release...

Nice, Thanks man. I asked last night, and she said.... I'd rather be hiking, than stuck in a canoe. I guess that's better than nothing. So, If we paddle the above mentioned route, is there a peak near by we can climb as well? Maybe I can get her to do both. I'll try and google the area, but...

Only 4 hours from me, maybe I can convince my wife to go on another adventure. Was this a down and back trip? Can you make it all the way back, without having to set up camp?

I read this post... I saw this "Question is then... first, does anyone want to join me? It would be July or August." and immediately want to respond with a "YES". I love ADK and adventure, and have been wanting to take a canoe trip adventure for a long time. I visit ADK regularly to wilderness...

Awesome trip and thanks for the help. The Forge Motel did the trick and was only $89. Can't beat that.
