I started paddling sea kayaks in the late 80's and built my first kayak (traditional Aleutian baidarka) in 1994. I switched to canoes to get away from carrying water on my trips. For the last 10 years or so, a buddy and I do an annual trip on the Allagash or other northern Maine river at least once a year. I otherwise paddle on lake Cobbosseecontee in Maine.
