Solo Stove buy one get one Black Friday 2019 sale

Has anyone used the 180 stove from Piragis ? It would seem easier to load from the front rather than the top but I've not used either. I will look at the solo stove too.

Poll: How old were you when you got YOUR OWN first canoe (and what was it)?

I was "almost" born in a canoe. It was 1952 in Mt. Pleasant Mi. My parents "and I " were canoeing on the Chippewa river when my mother was ready. My dad pulled the canoe over and they got to the hospital just in time for me to enter the world. This was a Grumman aluminum 17 ft. It was the...

What do you drink on a trip?

Yeah to Ovaltine (my favorite) I too use a few drops of grape juice in my filtered water bottle. Most of the time just plain old water that is until rum time. Tea is good too ! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the Gatorade or Powerade too. Great for electrolytes.

    Paw Paw River SW Michigan

I was born and raised in Mi. but I have to say I know nothing of the Paw Paw. It looks interesting. I paddle the AuSable a lot . I want to explore other rivers . I go to the U.P. often.

    Totally Bugged Out

I was up on the Missinaibi last year but was in late August. The bugs were not too bad except around the Brunswick lake area. That was, indeed one of my favorite trips ever ! Getting too old to do that one again. Guess I'll stick to the BWCAW and other tamer rivers in the U.P.

Canoe portage pack! Frost river! Old # 7

Pale shale, I'm not familiar with old # 7. It appears large enough to put some clothing and maybe a tent/sleeping bag in. Is that a fair assumption? If so I will buy it from you.
