Married with 3 daughters ages 21, 20 and 19 (probably he worst family planning in the history of Earth). I used to joke that when my girls all hit puberty I was going to buy a solo. Well, they did and I did, and most of my paddling is solo these days.
I have been going to the Boundary Waters since I graduated from high school back in 1980, although most of my trips now take place in Quetico. I would love to check out some other areas, but, as a Minnesota resident, these to parks are pretty much in my back yard. I manage 3-4 trips each summer and try to sneak in a long weekend in the fall, but that is difficult as I am a teacher.
Cooking, reading, biking, fishing and buying gear; lots of gear!
