Steve - I'm just getting back to this site. Didn't make it up there. I kept checking the weather, and it didn't look too favorable, so I canceled. Big mistake, they had gorgeous weather and above normal temps. I need to stop checking the weather before trips. It just snowballs into excuses...

Going to drive up from Pittsburgh, Pa in mid-Sept to do this route and fish! I'm primarily a hammock camper. Did you have any issues finding sites that would accommodate hammocks? I'm solo.

Last year my son and I had everything ready for Wabakimi, even put down the deposit which was not refundable. We were hoping the border would have been opened up by now but as we know, that's not happening anytime soon. We've planned a 10-day paddle in BWCA starting at Sawbill outfitters...

Here's a few from a couple of years back. Natural water slide and the falls. This was the same day someone went to the base of the falls to take photos and slipped into the water and was swept away and unfortunately died.
