Inquire at any cheese factories in your region, sometimes they receive the waxy coating for hard cheeses in those bbls. It is absolutely food-safe, there's no residue in the bbls and no smell whatsoever. Last June, I paid $8.00 each for all that I could fit in the car that day. Good luck!
