I like to cook up chili and freeze enough for two people in a bag. The block goes in the food barrel and slowly thaws over the course of the day ready to heat up once I'm ready to make dinner. Added benefit, it keeps everything else in the food barrel cool that first day.

Great idea! I'm going to use it as one of my meals this summer.
