Found this little gem. Guy ditches twice, solo with his gorgeous dog. Looks to be non stop current on a very unused route. The Black Flies on this video are insane. I may have lost my mind dealing with this many bugs. Enjoy.

That was good. Thanks for posting. Good tripping dog. Fun to have something to watch up in the bow. Loved the shot of the dog standing in the pinned canoe mid-river.

Dog seemed to be relatively unbothered by the flies. Maybe the thick coat helps? They're pretty hard on Sadie. They bite her on the stomach and inner thighs where she has hardly any fur.

Yeah my dog has wolf-like fur and there have been a few times his nose look malformed and eyes are almost swollen shut. He doesn't seemed bothered by it all but he sure is affected by the mosquitos and black-flies.

I have watched a few more of this guys videos and I am blown away. These are the best canoe tripping videos out there and that is with all due respect to the others. This guys has some top notch editing and musical additions. Watch the three part series on the Missinaibi River. Wow! Great camera perspective in while running rapids. Also watch his traditional long bow grouse hunting videos. Very well done and interesting.
