Texas Trip Suggestions

I'm going to head down to Texas for a couple weeks. I'm planning to float the Frio but that will only take me two days, so I'm looking for another river or two, two or three day trips. I'll be taking my kevlar canoe, poling most of the time, so shallow water shouldn't be an issue. Anywhere in the state is fine. Looking for scenic and good camping. Any suggestions?

Lower canyons of the Rio Grande. I don't think anything else can touch it. Just about talked myself into doing it this winter but decided to go hiking/camping in SE Arizona instead. Maybe next year.
