I like the black and blue. Looks sharp!
What kind of tubing is that?
That's a plastic tube. Do you epoxy around to seal it? And if you do does epoxy bond to that?
What model canoe?
It’s vinyl tubing. Gflex epoxy bonds well. This is my 3rd canoe using the box bushings.

@Black_Fly wouldn’t mind seeing a few more pics of your new canoe……the “blue steel” looks pretty sharp!

I'll post some when I get it out to the lake after my shoulder heals. I've not paddled it yet really. Just plopped a dog in it to get him used to it a little. They tell me I should be able to flip a canoe in 6 weeks.
