We have discussed being prepared for bears, raccoons, bugs, storms, etc, but we apparently need to be aware of a new wilderness danger. I am at a loss!

We need to think hard about this one.

My sister used to raise goats. If you went to visit you parked out on the road quite a ways from the house or the dang goats would be climbing all over the car.

The adult goats are just milling around. One says to another, "Kids ... you just can't keep them off of anything."

I like goats. We use them around here for brush control to decrease fire hazards. I was around them a lot working on the Navajo Res in NE Arizona.. They would come by in a group, often with some sheep and a couple of dogs. Then later in the day they would be heading home before dark. Not a Navajo to be seen.

There are some mountain goat problems in Washington State that are not funny. There have been many injuries and at least one fatality in Olympic NP and in the Cascades near Mt. Adams.
