Ok, now that I have your attention. This knife was my grandfathers and was in a tool box sitting on the concrete floor of his garage for more than 60 years. It actually has less rust than most of the tools that were in the box. I was glad to find it when we cleaned out my uncles house but the truth is it is just sitting in a box with too many other knives. I don’t think I’ll ever get around to cleaning it up. Too many other things I’d rather do. No name visible but it could be there somewhere. Looks very much like the Marbles knife I donated to the site upkeep fund this past winter (without the stag handle). Just pay the shipping and I’ll send it to you if you are interested.

I also have sone knife blades to sell. We recently went to Norway and I always try and meet up with a bladesmith if I can. I brought a few extras back to share. They are for making a knife in the Puukko style. The blades are hand forged with laminated steel meaning it has a harder steel in the middle. Two are from the man I met this trip and one is from someone about 10 years ago. $50 each.

I also have some traditional curly birch handle blanks for $10 each if you are interested.

nice project Coldfeet. If it were me. I'd cut of the guard and reshape the blade to a drop point then make a Scandinavian style neck knife sheath for it. Then I'd go paddle my Chum, from the stern seat;)
