Bamboo canvas, how good is it?

So I was browsing some bamboo clothes today. But it's all soft clothes and mostly underwear. But I started thinking, it dries faster than cotton so wouldn't it be good for a jacket or anorak? Maybe even for a backpack or a canoe. Anyone tried some bamboo canvas?
I don't know a lot about the bamboo industry but I believe it's better than the cotton one, which is why I ask.

I have knit sox out of a bamboo blend They wear very poorly.

Really? I have some socks in tricot which have held for a really long time. But what I'm mainly interested in is the properties of the canvas. If it wells like cotton and the drying times and wear resistance.

Several years ago, my wife bought new bed sheets made from Bamboo, and they are GREAT. Especially in the Winter ! They seem warm almost immediately when they touch your skin, and they wear good also. Having said that, I know there is a great quality range in Bamboo cloth. As well as price.

I'd think pants, shirts, or a jacket would be great, if made from quality cloth.
