It’s interesting, I’ve only ever used ‘attach files’ but for the first time last week or so a couple pics were sideways. It was my new way of tying the front of the boat to the hood loops. I guess I’ll be using that image icon now. Jim

At least you checked Gamma, some people don’t even think to check. I go by the 1-10-100 rule when I’ve got something on the roof or tied to a trailer. I stop after a mile or so and check the load, then ten miles for another check then everything gets checked every time I stop for whatever...

Dynel is a fabric like fiberglass it is woven and can conform to contours of a canoe. There is so much great information on this site for builders first time or experienced. Jim

I reread Cache Lake Country last winter, it’s a fun read and he had quite the job, paid to live in the woods by the timber company. They even flew in supplies. I’m now rereading Chips From A Wilderness Log by Calvin Rutstrum. Jim
