    J Winters "Kite" build

You're passion has great depth. I have purchased the plans, and am presently making stems. I would never make a boat as quick as you. And I admire that. Iam thinking of getting wood pre cut from Noah's. The forms I cut myself. You are right when you equate this to a piece by piece planing...

What to use for an inside ground sheet (and how to use it)?

Mylar is a light weigh option for either outer or inner. It is window shrink wrap for insulating windows. Sounds flimsy but works surprisingly well and is cheap. Very static clingy, but its pretty puncher resistant. Easy to find at any hardware store. I like a tyveck inner on a one man cause if...

Electrical device you are most likely and least likely to eliminate

With power banks getting better i seem to be replacing battery powered devices with rechargeable stuff. Got a solar powered camp light/globe its called a lucy light. i got rid of a candle and battery powered camp light. Huge weight difference, i even use it on multi day back packing trips.

    Paddling in a lightning storm

Power company trucks have "insulated booms" meaning just the bucket and or extending arm are insulated from ground, the truck is not. And the tires are not insolators. Also the glove system (3 plus pairs) that thy use are to insulate them from the electricity

    Paddling in a lightning storm

I heard to squat on a pad and try to keep ankles touching and also don't hug you knees and keep your joints bent. The reason for the ankles, path of least resistance up one down the other. The bent joints and not hugging knees is to let the electricity blow out of you. And lastly spread out away...

    Ranting

Bulkanu what type of cars? I as well rotate between hobbys. I have 9 bikes, 3 of which are rideable, 3 hang on walls, and the others are special in one way or the other, but basically part donners. 2 canoes, 3ish kayacks that sit and occupy space. Rc cars, hiking, camping, skiing...
