Do kids count? I find a smack on the back of the head works great! I joke, their noise is good as long as it’s not fighting, and I’m just happy they’re happy and having fun. Unfortunately we don’t see a whole lot of wildlife on our family trips as a result.

Thanks everyone! There’s a few small spots in the gel coat with some spiderwebbing so I was thinking of maybe grinding the cracks and gel coating. Is there any other way or tricks for dealing with the this kind of blemish?

Here’s my results. I ended up using a combination of 406 silica and 407 low density fillers in about a 50/50 mix. Very happy with the results, time will tell how it holds up. 2oz cloth holds it all together for a 26oz paddle.

Go big! 17’ prospecteur all the way. I paddle big boats a lot, 18’ NC prospector and 18’6 McKenzie. When we take the 16’ boats out they feel tiny and uncomfortable.
