Molded seats 2 + rear seat/platform to transom app. 10" from floor , lite aluminum gunnels , full keel with spray chines in rear , metal transom protector plate , strangest "Basket weave" fabric in the interior , broken cast aluminum bow lift handle , NO brand/Mfg. rating plates anywhere. Thanks Pros. ! I'll study and try to figure out to have wife's smartty phone post photos .

For use with a motor they have some advantages like a wider beam, spray rails, etc. It is not so easy to run an outboard that is directly behind you sitting in a stern seat. Using a bracket on a regular canoe puts the engine in an easier position to operate.

I use a 6 hp Tohatsu 4 stroke on my drift boat on lakes. Those boats have flat bottoms but narrow transoms that tend to sink deep under too much power. I run it standing up with a handle extension. It is very comfortable to operate.
