Lance - Thanks for the heads up. I just put in an order for a new portage pack. Now that I'm no longer leading group trips, the pack I have is way too large and there's no good way to close it down. Getting a new pack just seemed to make sense; especially with the discount and free shipping!

My "Quetico" pack arrived last week and I'm very impressed with the quality of the pack. I knew Granite Gear makes wonderful equipment but this is my first personal purchase. Can't wait to get out and use it on a solo overnight (or two).
