The Newest Lake in All of Arizona

It's a reservoir, to me it does not qualify as a "lake"!

"this reservoir is more than just a body of water"

Recped what is wrong with a reservoir in the desert? It must be way better then the delta that was at the end of the Colorado river. It even says "The lake is a testament to Arizona’s innovative approach to water management."

Nothing wrong with a reservoir, I just don't consider it to be a "lake".

I agree they shouldn't be called a lake. There are lots of things wrong with reservoirs. So wrong and so not innovative.

In the southern ADK’s is Great Sacandaga Lake, formed in the 1930’s by damming the Hudson and Sacandaga rivers…
It was initially called by its correct name, reservoir.
I have not been fooled, it’s still a reservoir.
