Timberwolf

Our canoe is a 17 foot Grand Laker, hand built in Ashburton, New Zealand. Having a transom means we can power the canoe with an outboard - a 6HP Suzuki 2 stroke. We have used the boat extensively around the shores of Lake Taupo in the North Island of New Zealand. In January 2015, being summer in the Southern Hemisphere, we are sailing around the Marlborough Sounds and the Abel Tasman National Park in the northern end of the South Island of NZ.
