Senior fellow, now. Worked as a research technician in medicine and fresh water ecology as well, fine line graphics technician photographer/artist wet lab/darkroom technician.
Intrigued by natural history. Our folks took us camping (yup, the coleman stove, army canvas tent, no floor) at a very early age, and came to love the outdoors.
Loved my backpacking trips in the Whites, Greens, CDN Rockies, Laurentians, and canoe tripping in La Mauricie National Park and parc National du Mont Tremblant. All in those 90lb rental canoes, those wicked portages, the whole bit.
Had a membership with GMC, Green Mountain Club for three years till we couldn't use our driver's license to get into the state. Nixed my travels to Vermont unfortunately. My passport and camera equipment got ripped off in Montreal and didn't renew it.

road cycling, backpacking, canoe tripping, jogging, xc skiing, downhill skiing, bird watching.
