Nice little trip, as it gets dark early, where you able to sit out by the fire after dark and stay warm?

Hi Norton: I am new to the group but not new to paddling in Maryland. Nice to get out in December, great pictures as well. thanks for the local report.

Seems the weather has closed in on us these days....friggin' cold Time to wax the skis.

I grew up on Chesapeake Bay. I have vivid memories of the waterfowl and especially the swans flying overhead in the fall. Winter can be spectacular on the right day. I am happy to hear of the bald eagles and osprey now that did not exist when I left that country in 1972.
