Good Morning!
I'm an Old Alaskan that left MN many years ago and brought canoeing with me.
I try to do a few weeks on Yukon Territory's big rivers and lakes each summer combining
some good fishing with a scenic and historically interesting area.

I found this site by searching for "Drawtite Tent"......so I'll go to that thread and try for some new tent ideas.

Welcome, Vern
Perhaps we can connect when I get back from an annual trip to the Ozarks. I keep looking at the Swift and Rosarito Rivers in the Yukon as I drive by wondering about shuttles...

Brad,
I haven't done the rivers down in that area but have done Teslin/Yukon, Big Salmon etc. I spend a lot of my time on the big lakes as I like fresh fish for dinner.

If you do the upper Yukon, plan on spending a day or two at Fort Selkirk. Well worth the time as it's visited only by canoers.....no motorhomes!
Read Robert Campbell Yukon Explorer to get a real appreciation for the area.

I like your avatar......the cranes will soon be here in huge numbers.

Hello Vern........
I too was a Minnesota boy that came to Alaska 45 years ago. I am just up the Richardson Highway, 60 some miles away from Delta Jct, in the burg of Salcha.
I am pretty new to the forum myself, but have found it to be a wealth of information.
Looking forward to hearing about your trips.
