Granite gear superior one?

I just got back from my first week long canoe trip and loved it. We did the allagash wilderness waterway with a group of friends. I will be going again next year. I'm looking at getting a canoe oack and thought about getting a superior one. Are they a good pack?

I have the GG Superior One and the GG #4 portage pack and a couple others. The Superior one is a little bigger and both are large. If you like to carry a lot of stuff and like back pack style harness and hip belts I don't think you'll go wrong with the Superior One. If you don't need or want the back pack style harness, the GG #4 is a good choice. The hip belt slides right off if you don't want to use it. Mine are 8-9 years old and best I can tell show no signs of wear other than dirt stains. I think mine were made in the USA and they may be made overseas now, if that means anything.
