Although there are no more breeding loons in Pa. I was lucky to be visited by this one. After watching him for nine days he finally waved back.

My wife and I paddling a rented canoe on the Androscoggin River in Maine/New Hampshire in 1977. Hint: We don't look like that anymore!!

It takes me ten minutes or so to drive to the water's edge and one never knows what the sunset will be like until you get there. It looked like this tonight.

Ho hum another Lake Michigan sunset. It hit about 55 yesterday so quite a few folks went down to Silver Beach to catch the sunset since the locals wanted to experience the sunset ritual.

When the sun went down it was easy to tell that it's still February.

Kathleen and Shadow heading east, down our ski-doo trail on the lake. Still a long way off before canoeing for us.

That Y stern looks like the feminine version of a square stern. Very nice.

Now who’s showing off, that’s a nice square stern Iskweo, and a neat little garden tractor/cart in the background

I'd willingly provide ballast up front in one of those gems. I'd earn my keep. Need a portageur, camp cook?
