Moving To Ottawa By Canoe

This guy moved to Ottawa by paddling up the Rideau Canal in a canoe. His claim for moving expenses was initially rejected by the Canada Revenue Agency. He eventually won, though. Entertaining article, with pictures on CBC.

Glad I never had to move by canoe ! It would have taken a year , just to move half of my stuff !

I saw that on FB this morning.

We had to make move by bus once going from Temporary Quarters to Permanents when I was stationed in Germany.

I'd need a lot of trips and a BIG canoe to move now.
